VentBid does not process payments between homeowners and contractors. All transactions, agreements, and payments occur directly between homeowners and contractors. VentBid is not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a contractor.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this site. By using VentBid, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Homeowner Terms
As a homeowner using VentBid, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about yourself and the HVAC job you are requesting quotes for
- Use the information provided by contractors only for the purpose of evaluating and selecting HVAC services
- Not share contractor contact information or bid details with third parties for commercial purposes
- Communicate directly and honestly with any contractors you engage through VentBid
VentBid does not guarantee that you will receive bids, that any contractor is available in your area, or that any bid will be within a particular price range. Pricing and availability depend on contractors, not VentBid.
4. Contractor Terms
As a contractor using VentBid, you agree to:
- Hold a valid Texas HVAC license (TDLR) and maintain appropriate insurance coverage at all times
- Provide accurate information about your company, licensing, and service area
- Submit bids that are honest, accurate, and reflect the actual scope of work you are prepared to complete
- Communicate professionally and honestly with homeowners
- Comply with all applicable Texas laws and regulations governing HVAC work
- Not contact homeowners for purposes unrelated to the HVAC inquiry they submitted
VentBid reserves the right to remove any contractor from the platform at any time for any reason, including failure to maintain licensing, poor homeowner feedback, or conduct inconsistent with these Terms.
5. No Guarantees
The site and all services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. VentBid does not guarantee:
- The quality, safety, or workmanship of any contractor's work
- That any contractor holds or maintains the licenses or insurance they claim — VentBid may review contractor information at onboarding but does not warrant its ongoing accuracy
- That any bid or recommendation is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation
- That the site will be available at any particular time or free of errors
Homeowners are responsible for independently verifying contractor licensing at tdlr.texas.gov and evaluating contractors before hiring.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, guides, design, and code — is owned by or licensed to VentBid. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content from this site for commercial purposes without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VentBid and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site or your interactions with contractors found through this site, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, financial loss, or dissatisfaction with contractor work.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of VentBid shall not exceed the amount you paid to VentBid in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for most homeowners, is zero).
